Activities:

JSC “LIKMERĖ” purchased 15 thousand square meters premises and 7 hectares of land, which is situated in Kaunas street, Ukmergė. Previously this property was in the disposal of factory “VIENYBĖ”. In autumn of 2007 we started to build modern birch veneer plywood factory which will be opened for the production in the end of 2008. The investments reach 65 million litas, modern technological equipment from Finland company “ROUTE” is installed.

“FINIERIS” group companies use birch veneer for plywood goods production, which are sold in 45 countries across the world. The assortment is very wide – from construction industry and transportation products, leisure goods (arenas for rollerblade, skating board, bicycling, pedestrian bridges, toys) to furniture, modern racks, and packaging containers. Especially high quality production is used for South Korean tanker containers for liquid gas.
